Welcome to the Municipal Court's online payment system for citations issued by the Mission Police Department. To begin, please read the following carefully, click next, then choose your plea. 

MUNICIPAL COURT PLEA FORM 

ELECTRONIC PAYMENT IS ONLY ALLOWED FOR CITATIONS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE A COURT APPEARANCE. If your ticket is checked with “Mandatory Court Appearance,” you may not use this payment format.  If we are unable to process your credit card payment for any reason, your case remains active.  Unless you make other arrangements,  you will be required to appear in court, or you may mail the fine into the court.  If you mail a check, it must be received prior to your court date.  Additional information pertaining to the policies and procedures of the Mission Municipal court may be found on our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) / Tutorial page and in our Your Rights in Court section. Please read the following information before continuing. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to read and understand the following information. By clicking the “NEXT” button below, you are acknowledging the terms and conditions set forth below.  You MUST enter a valid e-mail address with your payment. You will receive a response (either a receipt of successful transaction, or a rejection) from the court within two (2) business days. 

  •  If you have lost your citation, you may call the court at (913) 676-8325 during regular business hours (Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm except Holidays), to retrieve the   information you will need to pay on-line.

  • The Mission Municipal Court reserves the right to accept or reject on-line payments based on individual case circumstances.

  • After verification of the information you have provided and successful approval of your credit card, you will receive an e-mail receipt of the completed transaction including the authorization number obtained during processing.

  •  If you credit card is denied, you will receive an e-mail notice of rejection. Your case will remain active.

ORDINANCE TRAFFIC INFRACTIONS:

If this box is checked on your ticket, you have been charged with a traffic ordinance infraction or other eligible ordinance violation for which the fine and court costs have been indicated on the front of your ticket.  This is the only type of violation that may be paid on-line.  You must submit payment for the entire summons, and not individual charges. If this is not checked, you will need to appear on the date specified or satisfy the ticket before that date.

 

Please be advised on the following:

1. You have the right to appear in court on the date specified on your citation and enter your plea.

2. You have the right to a trial.

3. You also have the right to enter a written appearance, waive your right to trial, enter a plea of

guilty or no contest, and pay the specified e.

If you would like to exercise your right to any of these, pleafinse discontinue your on-line payment and contact the court.
